V-IT NV is seeking an Application Support Engineer for Service to join the IT-TI Data & App Support team in Brussel. You will deploy in-house applications across acceptance and production environments, primarily on Windows IIS/SQL, and support core technologies like RabbitMQ and Redis Cache.

You will contribute to DRP/BCP, interface with IT clients, and participate in a 24/7 standby cycle. A hybrid on-site/remote setup with regular on-site presence is required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English; French or Dutch required (German a plus).
• Recent experience supporting applications on Linux RedHat (deploy, logs, health/performance).
• Strong Windows Server experience (2012-2022) and IIS management.
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting and basic network/firewall awareness.
• Familiarity with MS-SQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Redis Cache; DevOps and CI/CD mindset.

Responsabilités

• Assist with deploying and updating in-house applications in acceptance and production (Windows IIS & SQL).
• Assist with application server architecture design and deployment.
• Contribute to DRP and BCP documents and execution.
• Interface with IT clients and provide second-line troubleshooting.
• Configure load balancing VIPs and support core technologies (RabbitMQ, Redis Cache).
• Ensure 2nd/3rd level support; keep documentation up to date.
• Participate in 24/7 duty role (1 in 6 weeks).
