MEERAB GROUP in Brussels is seeking an Application Support Engineer to join our Data and Application Support team. You will deploy in-house applications across acceptance and production environments, ensure high availability and security, and support Windows and Linux platforms.

You will contribute to disaster recovery planning, interface with IT clients, perform second‑line troubleshooting, configure load balancing, and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and either French or Dutch; German is a plus.
• Experience supporting applications on Linux RedHat and Windows Server with IIS.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell; familiarity with MS-SQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ and Redis.

Responsabilités

• Assist on day-to-day operational tasks: deploy and update applications in acceptance and production (Windows IIS & SQL-based).
• Support application server architecture: analyse requirements, design and deploy new applications.
• Validate and execute Disaster Recovery Plans and Business Continuity Plans.
• Interface with IT clients and provide second-line troubleshooting.
• Configure F5 load-balancing VIPs for web applications.
• Support core technologies such as RabbitMQ, Redis Cache and other shared tools.
• Maintain and update documentation and participate in the 24/7 duty schedule.

We are seeking an Application Support Engineer to join our Data and Application Support team in Brussels. The role involves deploying in-house applications across acceptance and production environments while ensuring high availability and security. You will support both Windows and Linux platforms and contribute to disaster recovery planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist on day‑to‑day operational tasks: deploy and update applications in acceptance & production environments (Windows IIS & SQL based).
• Support application server architecture: analyse requirements, design and deploy new applications.
• Validate and execute Disaster Recovery Plans and Business Continuity Plans.
• Interface with IT clients and provide second‑line troubleshooting.
• Configure F5 load‑balancing VIPs for web applications.
• Support core technologies such as RabbitMQ, Redis Cache and other shared tools.
• Maintain and update documentation and participate in the 24/7 duty schedule.

Required Qualifications

• Fluent in English and French or Dutch; German is a plus.
• Proven recent experience supporting applications on Linux RedHat (deployment, log analysis, monitoring).
• Expertise with Windows Server 2012‑2022 and IIS management.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and familiarity with MS‑SQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Redis.
• Understanding of firewalls, load balancing concepts, DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience configuring F5 load balancers and knowledge of NEO4J or other shared technologies.
• Prior involvement in DRP/BCP documentation and execution.
