Dataroots is seeking an AI Engineering Team Lead to design, build and deploy AI solutions that deliver real business value for clients. You will stay hands-on while leading a team of AI engineers, coaching growth and wellbeing and helping shape the AI Engineering practice.

As part of the Talan Group, you’ll contribute to business development and client relationships, maintaining a balance between delivery excellence and team performance. English and Dutch fluency are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering AI solutions in consulting or client-facing environments.
• Strong software engineering skills with Python and SQL.
• Experience building production‑ready machine learning and Generative AI systems.
• Solid understanding of GenAI, retrieval systems, Agentic AI, MLOps and LLMOps.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Fluency in English and Dutch.
