Job summary

NORRIQ is seeking a Life Insurance Transformation Consultant to lead AI-powered programs reshaping underwriting, policy administration, and advisory delivery across direct, broker, and bancassurance channels.

You will bridge life expertise, business analysis, and AI to redefine operating models, with emphasis on scalability and compliance. Fluent in English with Dutch or French; 2–8 years in Life Insurance or consulting preferred.

Qualifications

Experience in life insurance, pensions, wealth, or consulting roles.
Understanding of product, distribution, underwriting, or claims processes.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (IDD, PRIIPs, Solvency II, IORP II, RIS).

Responsibilities

Map and analyse the Life value chain — product, distribution, policy admin, in-force, claims, and pay-outs.
Co-design future-state journeys for life, unit-linked, pensions, and protection with cross-functional teams.
Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specs.
Define and prioritise API integrations for policy admin, advisor portals, fund platforms, and payments.
Prototype and pilot AI agents for document classification, KID/IPID generation, and suitability drafting.
Run business cases on time-to-issue, advisor productivity, persistency, and cost per policy.
Lead change management: train staff and redesign roles/KPIs.
Operate in agile teams as Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Scrum Master.
Monitor compliance with evolving regulations (IDD, PRIIPs, Solvency II, RIS, AI Act).
Act as trusted advisor to clients.
