NORRIQ Financial Services is seeking a Business Analyst AI in Banking to bridge business needs with AI-enabled banking solutions. You will work in a Scrum team with stakeholders, architects, and legal to deliver impactful change, focusing on AI-driven initiatives and GenAI use cases.

You will analyse processes, elicit requirements, and support the full project lifecycle from design to testing, with a strong emphasis on governance, compliance, and measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar consulting role.
• Experience in IT/transformation projects and banking domain knowledge.
• Strong requirements management and modelling skills.
• Experience with Generative AI solutions and LLMs.
• Experience collaborating with IT delivery teams and stakeholders.

In this role, you will work on key AI applications identified as high deliverables to meet the strategy of the banks, translating business challenges into innovative AI-enabled solutions. You will be within a Scrum team, in collaboration with business stakeholders, architects, legal, and other teams to ensure successful delivery of impactful change.

Your role

As a Business Analyst AI in Banking, you act as the link between business and technology. You analyse business processes, identify opportunities to improve customer and employee experiences, and help organisations leverage AI capabilities in a practical and scalable way.

You will support clients throughout the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to testing and implementation, ensuring that business objectives remain at the centre of every initiative.

What you will do

• Analyse business processes, customer journeys, and operational workflows within banking organisations.
• Elicit, document, and validate business, stakeholder, solution, and transition requirements.
• Identify opportunities where AI and emerging technologies can create measurable business value.
• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders, SMEs, product owners, and other teams.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, and use cases.
• Collaborate with architects, IT stakeholders and your Scrum team to design future-proof solutions.
• Support the implementation of AI-driven initiatives, including Generative AI and Agentic AI use cases.
• Define and maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to solution testing by supporting test scenario definition, UAT preparation, and validation of business outcomes.
• Monitor project progress, identify impacts and dependencies, and support change management activities.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives, regulatory requirements, and technology capabilities within the banking sector.
• Follow on the results of the solution through KPI tracking.
• Promote best practices in business analysis, process modelling, and requirements management.
• Be a team player within a Scrum team working in an Agile environment.

What you bring

Required qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar consulting role.
• Proven experience working on business and/or IT transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and requirements management practices.
• Experience in process analysis, process modelling, and business process improvement.
• Good technical understanding and ability to collaborate effectively with IT delivery teams.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, including functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Experience with Generative AI solutions and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• First-hand experience with Agentic AI environments, AI copilots, or intelligent automation solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools and business analysis documentation techniques.
• Banking sector experience and understanding of core banking processes.
• Fluent in English. Dutch and/or French are considered a strong asset.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or other modern delivery frameworks.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio, or BPMN modelling tools.
• Consulting experience within financial services.
• Understanding of data, analytics, or AI governance frameworks
