About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Life Insurance Consultant / Business Analyst to join our growing Insurance Practice in Belgium. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business and technology, helping leading insurance organizations deliver transformation, process optimization, and digital innovation initiatives. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and domain experts to design and implement solutions that create measurable business value. Your role:

Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to translate business needs into functional requirements and actionable solutions. Analyze current business processes, identify gaps, and design target operating models and process improvements. Challenge and align business and technical teams to ensure proposed solutions deliver maximum value and business benefits. Support digital transformation initiatives across Life Insurance domains, including policy administration, distribution, underwriting, claims, and customer engagement. Contribute to the implementation, optimization, or modernization of core Life Insurance platforms. Define and coordinate business acceptance testing, training activities, documentation, and change management plans to ensure successful adoption. Collaborate in Agile delivery environments, participating in Sprint Planning, PI Planning, backlog refinement, and stakeholder workshops. Contribute to the growth of the Insurance Practice through knowledge sharing, thought leadership, recruitment support, and mentoring of junior consultants. Your profile:

Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. 5-8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Consultant within the Insurance sector. Strong expertise in Life Insurance, including Individual Life and/or Group Insurance & Employee Benefits. Solid understanding of insurance products, end-to-end business processes, and regulatory requirements. Experience collaborating with both business and IT stakeholders to deliver complex transformation initiatives. Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms. Practical experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate analysis, documentation, and solution design activities. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Fluent in Dutch or French, with a good understanding of the other national language, and professional proficiency in English. Results-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills and a hands‑on approach. Nice to Have Experience with commercial Life Insurance core systems or policy administration platforms. Knowledge of process optimization methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or Service Design. Experience working in international or multicultural project environments. Project management experience or certifications such as PRINCE2, PMI, or equivalent. Previous coaching, mentoring, or team leadership experience.
