In4Matic is seeking an experienced Agile transformation expert to shape and strengthen a large-scale IT transformation in Brussels. The role combines strategic advice, hands-on coaching, governance design and measurable improvements to mature Agile ways of working across the organization.

You will conduct maturity assessments, analyze governance, and collaborate with leadership and Agile Coaches to translate strategy into actionable initiatives and an optimized operating model.

• Extensive hands-on experience in Agile & Lean transformations in complex IT environments.

Responsabilités

• Conduct Agile maturity assessments across current practices and transformation domains.
• Analyze IT governance, architecture, security, portfolio management and leadership contexts.
• Identify strengths, gaps, risks, and priority improvement areas for the transformation program.
• Challenge current Agile practices using external expertise and best practices.
• Translate digital strategy into concrete transformation initiatives, priorities and objectives.
• Define the desired future state with management, Agile Coaches and stakeholders.
• Support decision-making and prioritization within the transformation roadmap.
• Identify dependencies, risks and conditions for successful implementation.
• Design a future-proof operating model including roles, decision structures and collaboration models.
• Translate Agile principles into practical IT governance aligned with the organization.
• Ensure alignment between teams, management, portfolio, governance and strategic objectives.
• Define KPIs, metrics and maturity indicators to track progress and value.

Function

Our client is looking for an experienced Agile transformation expert to help shape and strengthen a large-scale IT transformation. The assignment combines strategic advice, hands-on coaching, governance design, and measurable improvement to support a more mature and sustainable Agile way of working across the organization.

Responsibilities

The role covers several key deliverables focused on transformation, leadership, and organizational change:

• Conduct Agile maturity assessments across the current way of working and relevant transformation domains.
• Analyze the current operating context, including IT governance, collaboration with architecture, security, portfolio management, and leadership.
• Identify strengths, gaps, risks, and priority improvement areas.
• Challenge existing Agile practices using external expertise, proven best practices, and sound Agile principles.
• Translate the digital strategy into concrete transformation initiatives, priorities, and objectives.
• Work with management, Agile Coaches, and relevant stakeholders to define the desired future state.
• Support strategic decision-making and prioritization within the transformation roadmap.
• Identify dependencies, risks, and conditions required for successful implementation.
• Support the design of a future-proof operating model, including roles, responsibilities, decision structures, and collaboration models.
• Translate Agile principles into practical IT governance within the organization’s context.
• Ensure alignment between teams, management, portfolio, governance, and strategic objectives.
• Define KPIs, metrics, and maturity indicators to track progress, impact, and value in a transparent way.
• Help IT leadership and Agile Coaches interpret and use metrics for continuous improvement.
• Coach and mentor the Agile Coaching Team, strengthening its capabilities in change, stakeholder management, management coaching, systems thinking, and Agile transformation.
• Support Agile Coaches in complex coaching and transformation challenges.
• Guide management and leadership teams in Agile leadership, autonomy, transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate workshops and support leadership alignment around the transformation vision and expected behaviors.

Technical Skills

The ideal profile brings strong expertise in Agile and Lean, with extensive experience supporting transformation in complex IT environments. You should be able to coach both teams and leadership while helping embed new ways of working in a sustainable manner.

The assignment is based in Brussels, with the possibility to work partly from home.
