IMEC in Leuven, Belgium, is seeking a Litho R&D Engineer to analyze lithography process development requests, design and execute cleanroom experiments, and interpret results to advance leading-edge logic and interconnect platforms.

You will collaborate with mask design, integrate overlay control, and transfer developed processes to pilot production or high-volume manufacturing, while reporting findings to management and stakeholders. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science.
• Experience with semiconductor processing in a cleanroom.
• Experience with advanced lithography (193nm immersion/EUV) is a plus.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilités

• Analyze and discuss lithography process development requests.
• Design and execute the experimental plan in the cleanroom and analyze results.
• Deliver high quality lithography processes for leading-edge logic and interconnect platforms that meet requirements.
• Collaborate with mask design team to generate lithography design rules and collect OPC data.
• Document and transfer lithography processes to the imec pilot production line or a high-volume manufacturing site.
• Cross-functional collaboration with integration, etch, CMP to ensure overlay control integration.
• Monitor overlay performance and analyze data to identify trends and issues; generate reports for management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to overlay measurement tools.
