IMEC is seeking an R&D Team Leader for Dry Etch in Leuven, Belgium. You will manage a team of engineers, drive development of plasma etch processes for advanced logic, memory and 3D integration, and collaborate across multiple disciplines to deliver innovative solutions.

You will shape the dry etch technology roadmap, ensure project execution, and foster a high-performance, inclusive work environment within a premier nanoelectronics research center.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or related field.
• Strong expertise in plasma etch process development for semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience with advanced patterning applications and device integration.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary technical projects in a dynamic R&D environment.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of R&D engineers, setting priorities and resource allocation.
• Drive development of advanced dielectric etch processes for patterning applications.
• Collaborate with integration, lithography, metrology, CMP, deposition and device teams for module delivery.
• Translate requirements into executable plans with milestones and scorecards.
