Actiris in Brussels is seeking an Accounting and Reporting Manager to lead a small team and partner with stakeholders across the organization to ensure accurate reporting and financial transparency across multi-entity operations.

You will own the accounting, reporting and control of centrally managed expenditures, coordinate month-end closes, and drive process improvements while developing the team and building strong relationships with IT, Legal and other support functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent experience.
• Strong accounting background with several years of experience.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills - French and Dutch
• Experience managing and developing team members, with a genuine interest in people leadership.

Responsabilités

Accounting and Reporting Manager in Brussels M/V/X

This newly created position combines technical accounting expertise, business partnering and people management, offering the opportunity to build and develop a function with significant visibility across the organization. You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders while ensuring accurate reporting, financial transparency and high-quality service delivery.

In this role, you will oversee accounting and reporting activities for centrally managed costs and third-party managed assets while acting as a trusted finance partner to key stakeholders.

• Partner with central functions such as IT, Legal and other support teams on financial performance and cost management.
• Own the accounting, reporting and control of centrally managed expenditures.
• Manage the reporting and relationship with third-party property owners, ensuring accurate information and timely responses to inquiries.
• Review monthly financial results, analyse variances and provide clear financial insights.
• Coordinate month-end closing activities, reconciliations and intercompany recharges.
• Drive process improvements, strengthen controls and support systems-related initiatives.
• Lead, coach and develop a small team, fostering collaboration and high performance.

Profil

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent experience.
• Solid accounting background with at least 7 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills - French and Dutch
• Previous experience managing and developing team members, with a genuine interest in people leadership.
• Strong business partnering mindset and the ability to build effective relationships with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience working in an international, multi-entity or shared services environment is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of SAP; experience with ERP implementations or system improvements is highly valued.
