Transman International Consulting Brussels office seeks a Client Accountant (m/f) to combine technical accounting expertise with a client-focused mindset. You will handle financial reporting, records maintenance and assist audits, ensuring accurate Belgian GAAP conversions and tax filings. English and French fluency is required, along with strong presentation and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
• Very good level in both English and French.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive approach to daily tasks and a team-oriented personality.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and review financial reports for clients, including periodic balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and annual accounts.
• Maintain accounting records and related supporting documentation.
• Assist with audits by providing information and manage financial administration for clients.
• Monitor cash flow: analyse and reconcile cash movements and review discrepancies.
• Convert financial statements from other GAAP to Belgian GAAP.
• Prepare and review VAT and WHT tax filings.

For its Brussels based office, our client, an international Financial Services structure, is currently looking for a:

Client Accountant (m/f)

In this role, you'll combine your technical expertise with a client-focused mindset, helping businesses navigate their financial responsibilities with accuracy and confidence.

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Accounting, prepare and review financial reports for clients, such as periodic balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and preparation and filing of annual accounts
• Maintaining accounting records and related supporting documentation
• Assisting with audits by providing information. Manage, review, and execute clients' financial administration
• Monitor cash flow: analyze and reconcile cash flow movements and review responses/evidence regarding discrepancies and evidence-based data
• Prepare and review the conversion of financial statements from other GAAP to Belgian GAAP
• Obtain accounting information for CIT returns and prepare tax filing (VAT, WHT)
• Monitor the quality and quantity of more junior team members' work

Profile

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar role, preferably in a multi-client company
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• Very good level in both English and French is required
• Excellent presentation skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple demands in a fast-paced environment are essential
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure
• A proactive approach to daily tasks and a team-oriented personality
• Willingness to work with diverse cultures
