Michael Page International (Belgium) is seeking an Account Manager in the Optical Sector to drive growth and expand ophthalmic solutions across healthcare accounts in Flanders. You will build strong relationships with ophthalmologists, clinics and hospital eye care professionals, acting as a trusted advisor on products, pricing and practice development opportunities.

Fluent Dutch and English are essential, with a hunter profile and existing ophthalmology network.

Qualifications

• Optometrist degree or equivalent.
• Proven sales success in MedTech/Eyecare.
• Hunter mentality with a pharma/eye care network.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French a plus.

Responsabilités

• Drive commercial growth across Flanders by expanding ophthalmic solutions in targeted healthcare accounts.
• Identify, engage and develop new business with ophthalmologists, clinics and hospital eye care professionals.
• Strengthen partnerships with existing customers and build long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
• Lead development of strategic growth areas such as myopia management with clinical evidence and market insights.
• Promote vision care solutions addressing presbyopia and eye protection needs.
• Design and implement territory plans translating market opportunities into sustainable results.
• Act as trusted advisor on products, market trends, pricing and practice development.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure best-in-class customer experience.

Job Description

The Account Manager - Optical Sector will have the following responsibilities :

• Drive commercial growth across Flanders by expanding the presence of ophthalmic solutions within targeted healthcare accounts.
• Identify, engage and develop new business opportunities with ophthalmologists, clinics and hospital-based eye care professionals.
• Strengthen partnerships with existing customers while building long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Lead the development of strategic growth areas such as myopia management, leveraging clinical evidence and market insights.
• Promote innovative vision care solutions, including products addressing presbyopia and eye protection needs.
• Design and implement territory plans that translate market opportunities into sustainable business results.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers by providing expertise on products, market trends, pricing and practice development opportunities.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities, including product implementation, customer training and ongoing support, to ensure a best-in-class customer experience.
