Job summary
A leading distributor of fresh produce is seeking an experienced part-time Truck Driver to efficiently distribute high-quality produce across the Sunshine Coast. This role involves safely operating a truck, assisting with loading/unloading, and providing exceptional customer service. Candidates should have at least 1 year’s experience, a heavy vehicle driver's licence, and a strong knowledge of road safety regulations.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year’s experience in a similar truck driving role.
- Proven track record of safe driving.
- Ability to work a variety of hours, with some starts from 2.00am.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a medium-sized rigid truck to transport goods.
- Assist with loading and unloading of produce.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries.
Skills
Fruit Lovers Market is seeking an experienced part-time Truck Driver to join our thriving team in Rocklea, Queensland. As a Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in the efficient distribution of our high-quality produce to our valued customers across Sunshine Coast.
- Safely operate a medium-sized rigid truck to transport goods from our central warehouse in Rocklea to our retail stores on the Sunshine Coast.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of produce at both the warehouse and customer locations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
- Perform regular vehicle inspections and report any issues or maintenance requirements.
- Provide exceptional customer service and act as an ambassador for the Fruit Lovers Market brand.
- Able to work a variety of hours, with some starts from 2.00am.
- A current heavy vehicle driver’s licence (HC or MC) and at least 1 year’s experience in a similar truck driving role.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and a proven track record of safe driving.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to ensure deliveries are made on time.
- Good physical fitness to handle the loading and unloading of produce.
- The ability to work a variety of hours, with some starts from 2.00am.
