Job summary

Carinity Education Gladstone is seeking a compassionate Administration Officer to join our school community. Based in Gladstone, you’ll welcome students and visitors, manage reception, and provide administrative support across enrolments, attendance, finances, and records.

This permanent part-time position (60.8 hours per fortnight) offers a supportive team, professional development, and a values-driven environment committed to safe, inclusive learning for young people.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with administrative office procedures and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills and telephone manner.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, email, calendar).
• Possession of current Suitability for Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
• Knowledge of WHS requirements is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and assisting students, families, and visitors at reception.
• Maintaining accurate enrolment, attendance, and school systems.
• Providing administrative support to teachers and leadership, including correspondence and filing.
• Preparing invoices and supporting financial administration.
• Fostering a positive, inclusive school culture and safe environment.
