Job summary

headspace Lithgow is hiring a Youth Care Coordinator to be the first point of contact for young people seeking mental health support. You will conduct psychosocial assessments and provide evidence-based interventions tailored to each client’s needs.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, nursing or related fields.
• Experience conducting clinical assessments with youth.
• Experience in multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills with youth.
• Proficiency with clinical software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and screenings for young people referred to headspace Lithgow.
• Foster long-term engagement and ensure continuity of care for clients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to drive centre success.
• Advocate for young people’s needs and coordinate care across services.
• Build community awareness, education and training initiatives.
