Job summary

Marathon Health, through headspace Lithgow, is hiring a Youth Care Coordinator to support young people on their mental health journey. You will perform psychosocial assessments and tailor evidence-based interventions to individual needs within a dynamic, supportive team.

As a key contact, you’ll foster engagement, coordinate care with other services, and contribute to community education and awareness initiatives. The role offers full-time employment with professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Qualified in psychology, social work or other relevant fields for clinical interventions.
  • Experience conducting psychosocial assessments and screenings.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

  • Foster long-term engagement ensuring they receive needed care.

What will you do?

What do you need?
  • Qualifications in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, nursing, drug and alcohol work, youth work, mental health, or other relevant fields for providing clinical interventions
  • Experience in conducting clinical assessments of young people facing mental health or drug and alcohol challenges
  • Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with young people
  • A solid understanding of technology and clinical software packages
