Job summary

headspace Lithgow is hiring a Youth Care Coordinator to be the first point of contact for young people seeking mental health support. You will conduct psychosocial assessments and provide evidence-based interventions tailored to each client’s needs.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, nursing or related fields.
• Experience conducting clinical assessments with youth.

• Foster long-term engagement and ensure continuity of care for clients.

What do you need?

• Qualifications in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, nursing, drug and alcohol work, youth work, mental health, or other relevant fields for providing clinical interventions
• Experience in conducting clinical assessments of young people facing mental health or drug and alcohol challenges
• Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with young people
• A solid understanding of technology and clinical software packages
