Craigieburn Secondary College, operated by the Department of Education Victoria, is seeking a Leading Teacher for Year 8 starting in 2027. The role focuses on pedagogical leadership to strengthen engagement, belonging and learning outcomes within the Year 8 program.

The successful candidate will drive instructional leadership, data-informed decision making and collaboration across PLCs, with a commitment to VTLM 2.0 and SWPBS frameworks to support student growth.

Qualificações

• Provisional or full teaching registration with VIT.
• Experience leading high-impact teaching strategies across Year 8.
• Ability to monitor student learning data and drive improvement initiatives.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with students, families and staff.
• Capability to implement MTSS and data-informed planning.

Responsabilidades

• Lead planning, implementation and evaluation of Year 8 programs.
• Provide instructional leadership and professional learning for Year 8 staff.
• Lead data collection, analysis and reporting to inform planning and interventions.
• Coordinate engagement, wellbeing and transition strategies for Year 8 learners.
• Use PLCs and coaching to support teaching practice and outcomes.
