Job summary

Yarrawonga Manufactured Housing (YMH) invites an experienced Yardperson to join our Mulwala facility and support busy construction operations, moving materials, keeping the yard clean, and assisting carpenters as needed.

The role requires a forklift licence, a current Driver’s licence, and a Construction Induction Card (White Card). MR licence is desirable. Expect a physically demanding but rewarding role with potential for progression and team activities.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence is a must.

Responsibilities

• Keep the facility clean, safe and organised.
• Organise and deliver building materials, equipment and other resources to ensure construction activity timelines.
• Keep YMH vehicle fleet clean.
• Lock up the facility daily, move vehicles and secure premises.
• Inspect products received for conformity to standard.
• Assist with Prep Moves with Construction Supervisor.
• Maintain clean and safe workstations.
• Support carpenters and team to meet production schedules.

YMH is a leading builder of modular dwellings and commercial buildings servicing the Lifestyle, Tourism and Commercial sectors, with facilities in both Mulwala NSW and Bendigo VIC. All our modular buildings are designed and built to the very highest standards with a true focus on quality.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Yardperson to work at our Mulwala facility. You will need to be a confident, detail-oriented individual who is solution-focused and ready to thrive in a busy setting.

Qualifications

• Current high risk work forkliftlicence
• Current Driver’s licence
• Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• MR licence (desirable not essential)

Responsibilities:

• Keep the facility clean, safe, and organised.
• Organise and deliver building materials, equipment and other resources as required to ensure all construction activities are completed within set timelines for both onsite and at the facility.
• Keep YMH vehicle fleet clean.
• Complete lock up of the construction facility on a daily basis, including but not limited to: moving and securing vehicles, locking up facility, warehouse, and rear gate.
• Inspect products received from suppliers to ensure conformity to standard.
• Completion of all Prep Moves to all buildings leaving the facility in conjunction with the Construction Supervisor.
• Keep all workstations clean and clear to ensure a safe working environment.
• Work closely with YMH carpenters to provide assistance when needed.
• Work as a team member to the required level of quality and to ensure construction activities are carried out to meet production schedules and operational requirements.
• Complete other activities as assigned by management.
