Job summary

Yarrawonga Manufactured Housing Pty seeks a Quality Control Officer to join our team at the head office in Mulwala. This full-time role requires a detail-oriented individual able to thrive in a busy manufacturing environment.

You will ensure quality control programs are effectively executed, support continuous improvements, and liaise with construction supervisors and trades to maintain high standards. A white card and valid driver's licence are essential, forklift licence is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a similar quality control role
• Construction Induction Card (White card) is current
• Current Drivers Licence is held
• Forklift Licence advantageous

Responsibilities

• Effectively complete all quality control programs
• Learn from QC outcomes and drive continuous improvements in quality through coaching and development of construction and sub contracting teams
• Discuss daily and weekly tasks and schedules with the Construction Supervisor to ensure operational efficiencies
• Manage and further strengthen key relationships with all trades and suppliers
• Actively participate in the development of new products and methods

We are seeking a Quality Control Officer to join our team. The position is full-time and based out of our head office in Mulwala with an employer who values your team and solution driven mindset. You will need to be a confident, detail-oriented individual ready to thrive in a busy setting.

Qualifications:

• Relevant qualifications or industry experience in a similar role
• Construction Induction Card (White card)
• Current Drivers Licence
• Current Forklift Licence advantageous

Skills required:

• A minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
• Excellent computer literacy and Microsoft Skills
• Proficient knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods including framing, lock up, fix, cladding & decking work highly regarded
• Physically fit and able to perform the physical requirements of the role
• Comprehensive knowledge of building methods, processes, and materials
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
• Ability to follow and drive for procedure improvements & efficiencies
• A positive and solution driven mindset
• Strong work ethic and the willingness to help others and work within a team
• Personal pride in the quality of your work and strong attention to detail
• Confidence to work independently
• Ability to meet required deadlines
• A good understanding of the building/manufacturing industry (desirable but not essential)
