Job summary

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and forklift licence are essential.

• Experience in production, assembly, warehousing or yard management.
• Experience with warehousing software/ERPs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe yard environment.
• Load and unload freight; assist customers and drivers as required.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment.
• Replenish picking stock in yard and warehouse.
• Assist with stocktake and stock management; pick and pack transfer orders.
• Label inventory on receival; assist workshop staff with general duties.
• Use warehouse systems to process orders and navigate the yard.

We are currently seekinga Yard Person/ Yard Handto join the team at ourOrange NSW site. This full-time role offers stable employment, a supportive team environment, and family-friendly hours.

About the role

This role involves warehouse and production operations, including loading and unloading freight, replenishing stock, assembling agricultural and industrial attachments, and managing inventory across yard and warehouse environments.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday:7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Friday:7:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Key responsibilities (include but not limited to):

• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe yard environment
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight
• Assisting customers and drivers as required
• Operating forklifts and other equipment
• Replenish picking stock in the yard and warehouse
• Assist with stocktake and stock management
• Pick and pack warehouse transfer orders
• Label inventory upon receival
• Assisting workshop and operations staff with general duties
• Use a variety of tools and equipment to assemble agricultural and industrial attachments
• Assemble mechanical and hydraulic components and products to meet customer specifications
• Utilise company systems and software to process orders and navigate warehouse
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
