Job summary

Bowens is a leading Australian timber and building supplies retailer seeking a customer-focused team member. You will pick and pack orders, serve customers, restock stock and keep the yard clean to ensure timely deliveries and a tidy site.

The successful candidate will bring strong communication, a safety-conscious approach to physical tasks, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Timber and Hardware is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to deliver outstanding customer service.
• A capability to undertake physical tasks safely.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
• Ability to work independently as well as contribute as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders from picking slips to ensure that they are prepared accurately and ready for the agreed delivery time.
• Serving customers and ensuring they receive an outstanding customer experience.
• Putting stock away.
• Cleaning of the yard and ensuring it is neat and tidy at all times.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:
