Job summary

Bowens is seeking a delivery driver to service its branch network across Victoria. You will handle the delivery of timber and hardware products, loading and unloading as required, and use mobile delivery software to complete each job.

The role requires a valid driver’s licence, physical fitness for repetitive lifting, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high customer service. Bowens offers a supportive environment with career development.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s licence.
• Physically fit for repetitive lifting tasks.
• Experience operating a truck and performing multi‑drop deliveries.
• Understanding of OH&S will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timber and hardware products across the branch network, including loading and unloading.
• Adhere to OH&S requirements.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Deliver timber and hardware products across the branch network, including the manual loading and unloading of materials
• Adhere to OH&S requirements
• Strive to maintain Bowens' commitment to our customers of delivering on time
• Utilise our sophisticated mobile phone operated delivery software to complete duties

We seek applicants who will bring an enthusiastic attitude, and possess the following:

• A valid Drivers Licence is essential
• A high level of enthusiasm, commitment and customer service
• Be physically fit to perform repetitive lifting tasks involved in loading and unloading trucks
• Prior experience operating a truck and performing multi-drop deliveries
• An understanding of OH&S
• Ability to work independently as well as contribute as a team member
