Job summary

Sims Limited Bathurst yard is seeking a hands-on Yard Operations Manager to lead a close-knit team, ensuring the site runs safely, efficiently, and profitably each day. You will be the go-to person on site for people leadership and operational performance.

Balancing customer relationships, transport logistics, and continuous improvement, you will coach team members and roll up your sleeves when needed to deliver outstanding results in a dynamic environment.

The Opportunity

As our Yard Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a close-knit team and ensuring the site runs safely, efficiently, and profitably every day.

You'll be the go-to person on site, balancing people leadership, operational performance, customer relationships, safety, and continuous improvement.

This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable coaching team members, coordinating transport logistics, managing stakeholders, and rolling up their sleeves when needed.
