Job summary

Workhorse Staffing is seeking a reliable Yardhand in Penrith, NSW to support a busy building supplies operation. The role involves outdoor physical work, loading/unloading materials, and assisting with stock control in a fast-paced team setting. Previous yard experience and a forklift licence with 2+ years are preferred.

You’ll be part of a dynamic team, handling orders and keeping the yard clean and safe, with opportunities for overtime and progression within a long-term role.

Qualifications

• Previous yard experience preferred.
• Current forklift licence with minimum 2 years experience.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual with strong work ethic.
• Good attention to detail when picking orders.
• Comfortable working with customers in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading building materials.
• Picking and preparing customer orders.
• Moving and stacking products around the yard.
• Assisting with stock control and general yard duties.
• Ensuring orders are picked accurately and ready for dispatch.
• Keeping the yard clean, organised and safe.
• Assisting drivers, production and warehouse staff where required.
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures.
