Job summary

Bourgault Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a hands-on Yard & Forklift Operator to join our Albury NSW facility. This casual, full-time role focuses on loading and unloading materials, keeping the yard safe, neat and well-organised, and supporting day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate holds a current Forklift License, a valid driver's license, and has proven forklift experience, with a willingness to perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Forklift License.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending whilst being flexible to work in varying weather conditions.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Relevant experience in a similar role.
• Be willing to complete a pre-employment medical assessment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from trucks, shipping containers etc. using appropriate equipment
• Operate forklifts, tractors and other heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Complete packing lists and loading documentation in a timely manner as instructed
• Maintain Wholegood inventory in yard as instructed
• Maintain a clean and organised yard/premises and perform general maintenance on yard equipment
• Ensure all Work Health & Safety protocols are followed

About the role

The purpose of this role is to support and ensure the continued smooth operation of the business. This is through the coordination of day-to-day activities such as the safe loading and unloading of equipment ensuring the yard is always safe, clean and organised.

This is a casual position working fulltime hours of 7:00am to 3:06pm at our Albury NSW facility.
