Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and delegate all service jobs within the workshop.
  • Assign and dispatch repair orders to Technicians based on skillset, priority, and deadlines.
  • Monitor job progress and provide timely updates to ensure on-time completion.
  • Maintain a productive and efficient workshop environment.
  • Confirm availability and accuracy of special-order parts for scheduled jobs.
  • Track and report repeat repair causes to the Service Manager.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to uphold service standards.
  • Schedule backup jobs to maximise workshop utilisation during quieter periods.
  • Plan staffing levels to meet overtime and workload demands.
  • Assist with vehicle inspections and road tests alongside customers when required.
  • Resolve customer service issues promptly and professionally.
  • Drive a strong safety culture in the Workshop.
