Job summary

Western Downs Regional Council is seeking a Works Supervisor to manage a range of infrastructure construction and maintenance projects across the Dalby region. You will lead project teams, ensure delivery within timeframes and budget, and uphold council values and safety standards.

The role requires a Certificate IV in Civil Construction (or equivalent), WH&S induction, and a valid Open C Class licence. Benefits include leave loading and strong support for growth and safety.

The Opportunity

The Works Supervisor is responsible for providing a range of services to ensure the sustainability of community and council infrastructure aimed at enhancing the liveability and environment of our growing region.

This role encompasses a range of duties and responsibilities which may vary as directed by Council. The key ones include:

Managing and supervising construction and maintenance projects with a commitment to council’s key values and performance culture to ensuring the efficient delivery of the works programs.Delivering allocated projects within agreed timeframes and budget.

Establishing project outcomes, prioritising tasks and monitoring progress.

About Yourself

A person in this position will need to hold a relevant Certificate IV in Civil Construction or in a related field OR be able to demonstrate equivalent related experience. The successful candidate must have:

WH&S Construction Safety Induction White Card

Open C Class Driver's Licence.
