HammondCare is seeking a part-time Workplace Coach to join our Horsley residential home. You will work with the Residential and Learning Team to coach and mentor staff, focusing on implementing HammondCare Principles of Care and improving outcomes for residents.

You will deliver learning activities in various formats, plan training schedules, and support staff through orientation and the retention program, all within a values-driven Christian mission.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in practical training/mentoring/coaching roles.
• Commitment to lifelong learning for self and others.
• Willingness to undertake Certificate III in Individualised Support if not already held.

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Regional Learning Team Leader, you will work within the Mission in Action of HammondCare and be part of the People and Learning Team who provide a high performing and valued People and Learning function.

The focus of the Workplace Coach is to work in consultation with the Residential and Learning Team, to focus on improving the lives of people receiving HammondCare services through coaching and mentoring team members in our residential home at Horsley. The keyobjectiveis to empower our Specialised Carers to operationalise the HammondCare Principles of Care.

This is a permanent part-timerole 3 days per week (22.8 hours)based at Horsley.

What you will be doing

• Work cooperatively with Residential team, Educators,Learningteam, Hammond Innovations, Quality Governance and Risk, and other support and care units toidentifylearning and development needs
• Promote andassistin the implementation of a case management approach by the Care Team
• Work with local Learning Team colleagues to plan Training schedules which meet Learner and service needs
• Delivery of Learning activities in a range of formats this will include face to face, individual and group training,webinarsand workplace assessment, depending on service need
• Support the complete learning pathway for care staff from Orientation and beyond as part of the new employee Retention Program
• Support Staff studying ASQA accredited qualifications Certificate III in Individual Support

About you

• Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action
• At least2 year’s demonstrated experience as a carer in the Australian Aged Care Sector
• Demonstrated ability in a practical training/mentoring/coaching role
• Commitment to facilitation of lifelong learning for self and others
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Intermediate to Advanced MS Suite (Outlook, Word,Exceland MS Teams)
• Current Certificate III in Individualised Support preferred or willingness to undertake is highly desirable ****
