Job summary

HammondCare's Respite Cottages in Wahroonga and Terrey Hills are seeking a Specialised Carer to deliver personalised care for older guests during stays of up to 10 nights. You will work across mornings, afternoons, and nights, providing personal care, adhering to care plans, and promoting dignity.

No prior experience is required; full training is provided. A valid driver's license and access to a car are preferred.

Qualifications

• Available to work across Wahroonga and Terrey Hills sites.
• You are a people-person who is patient and solutions-focused.
• You have previous experience in aged or community care, or are looking to start your career in aged care.
• You have a valid Driver's Licence and access to an insured, reliable car.
• Ideally, you'll have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support. If you're not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help
• First Aid certificate desirable
• Empathy and compassion are a must
• Good administrative and computer skills, including the use of a smartphone
• A strong team player, who can communicate professionally changes in care, complete all documentation, whilst maintaining confidentiality.

The Opportunity

• In this role you will provide care for our clients across our Wahroonga & Terrey Hills Cottages.
• Hourly Rates: $32.91 to $36.50- P/H + Casual loading + Super + Salary Packaging
• Opportunites for Permanent Part positions

• 7.15am-14.45 - Morning shift
• 14.45 - 21.45- Afternoon shift
• 21.30- 07.45- Night shift
