Job summary

HammondCare is seeking a Workplace Coach to join the People and Learning Team at the Horsley residential site. This permanent part-time role (22.8 hours per week, 3 days) focuses on coaching and mentoring to empower care staff in applying HammondCare Principles of Care.

You will collaborate with Residential and Learning teams to identify learning needs, plan schedules and deliver a range of training formats, including webinars and on-site sessions. Pre-employment checks apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Australian aged care sector.
• Experience in training, mentoring or coaching.
• Commitment to lifelong learning for self and others.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Certificate III in Individualised Support preferred or willingness to undertake.

Responsibilities

• Identify learning and development needs with Residential, Educators and Learning teams.
• Promote and assist in implementing a case management approach by the Care Team.
• Plan training schedules to meet learner and service needs.
• Deliver learning activities in face-to-face, online, webinars and workplace assessment formats.
• Support the full learning pathway from orientation and retention as part of the program.
• Support staff studying ASQA Certificate III in Individualised Support.
