Job summary

HammondCare Home Care in NSW is seeking Casual Carers to join our team across Lake Cathie, North Haven, Dunbogan and Bonny Hills regions. You will provide essential, practical care to older people at home, helping them live independently and maintain their quality of life.

A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable car are required; you’ll be paid per km and for travel time. Full training is provided; flexible shift patterns and generous benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• You’re a people-person who is patient and solutions-focused.
• Experience in aged or community care is preferred or you’re looking to start in aged care.
• Valid Driver's Licence and access to an insured, reliable car (min. Third Party Property Insurance).
• Ideally hold Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support; we can help you qualify if not yet certified.
• Flexible to meet changing needs of home care clients.

Responsibilities

HammondCare Home Care is currently looking for Casual Carers to join our team in the Lake Cathie, North Haven, Dunbogan and Bonny Hills region on a Part-time contract.

About the role

You'll provide essential, practical care for older people, supporting them to live independently in their own homes and genuinely improving their quality of life. This includes not only day today care but also building meaningful relationships and offering companionship. The role requires travel to clients' homes using your own car (you'll be paid $1.05 cents per km plus paid travel time).

In return for your expertise, we offer:

• $31.95 to $35.44 per hour plus 1.05c/km + paid travel time + mobile phone provided

About you

• You're a people-person who is patient and solutions-focused
• You have previous experience in aged or community care, or are looking to start your career in aged care
• You have a valid Driver's Licence and access to an insured, reliable car (min. Third Party Property Insurance)
• Ideally, you'll have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support. If you're not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help
• You'll be flexible around meeting the changing needs of home care clients
