Job summary

Lutheran Services Australia is seeking an Administration Officer - Workforce to join our aged care team in Wahroonga. You will manage rostering, staff coordination, training compliance, workforce reporting, and labour cost management to ensure safe, high‑quality care.

You will coordinate rosters, monitor attendance and leave, compile workforce metrics, and support recruitment. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality and compliance within an inclusive not-for-profit environment.

Qualifications

• Proven rostering and workforce planning experience.
• Knowledge of workplace legislation and awards.
• NDIS Worker Screening clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage accurate staff rosters meeting resident needs and compliance.
• Manage staff availability, leave, shifts, and absences for coverage.
• Monitor staffing levels and adjust rosters for service demand.
• Support workforce planning with trend analysis and forecasting.
• Prepare workforce reports on overtime, variances, and costs.
• Coordinate mandatory training and performance reviews.
• Act as first point of contact for roster inquiries and onboarding activities.
• Monitor labour costs and minimise agency usage.
