Job summary

South Western Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Workforce Educator - Improvement and Innovation to empower staff to lead meaningful change, improve patient experiences and drive a culture of continuous improvement across the District.

You'll design, develop and deliver innovative education programs in improvement science and clinical redesign, partnering with senior leaders and multidisciplinary teams to uplift 17,000 staff and align learning with healthcare priorities.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent; experience developing education programs in complex environments.
• Experience designing, delivering and evaluating education programs that improve service delivery or workforce capability.
• Experience in improvement science, clinical redesign, and engaging stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams.
• Australian C-Class driver's license (P1/P2 allowed) with NSW licensing requirements within three months of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and delivery of innovative education programs in improvement science and clinical redesign.
• Drive capability uplift across a workforce of more than 17,000 staff, supporting better outcomes for patients, communities and teams.
• Partner with senior leaders, clinical experts and multidisciplinary teams to influence system-wide improvement initiatives.
• Develop contemporary, evidence-based learning solutions that align with strategic healthcare priorities and emerging workforce needs.
• Make a lasting impact by helping staff embrace innovation, redesign services and transform the healthcare experience.
