Job summary

Allianz Australia in Charlestown is seeking a Technical Specialist for a 6-month secondment to guide workers’ compensation claims to timely finalisation. You will provide technical claims management advice, coach peers on applicable legislation and practices, and ensure data accuracy and regulatory timeframes while supporting team KPIs and RTW outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in complex workers' compensation matters.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with empathy and commercial focus.
• Ability to coach and mentor colleagues.
• Strong planning, prioritisation and leadership in a team.
• Ability to interpret complex information and provide insights.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical claims management advice and timely referrals.
• Coach teams on legislation, standards, regulations, and procedures.
• Ensure data accuracy and regulatory timeframes.
• Support achievement of KPIs and RTW targets.
• Review PIAWE and liability/work capacity decisions.
