Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Technical Manager in Sydney to lead workers’ compensation claims, ensuring fair, evidence-based decisions in line with state laws. You’ll provide expert guidance to Case Managers and drive compliance across the team, supporting cost management and return-to-work outcomes.

You will coach staff, review complex cases, and maintain accurate documentation while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within a collaborative, inclusive DXC environment.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Minimum of 3 years of workers' compensation case management experience.
• Experience in a technical role supporting claims management.
• Ability to interpret relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support to Case Managers for accurate claim decisions.
• Clarify complex legal language and ensure compliance with state requirements.
• Promote consistency and quality through case reviews and oversight.
• Maintain documentation to support decisions and audit compliance.
• Coach and train case managers on laws, best practices, and communication.
• Identify risks and contribute to mitigation strategies.
