Qualifications

• Experience leading teams within self-insured workers’ compensation schemes.
• Proven expertise managing workers’ compensation claims under self-insurance frameworks.
• Strong case management experience balancing cost and wellbeing.
• Ability to adapt to regulatory and operational changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a claims team within the state, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
• Provide expert technical support to the team, ensuring accurate and timely claim decisions.
• Oversee end-to-end processing of workers’ compensation claims, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Respond to stakeholders with professional, timely communications and foster a customer-focused culture.
• Identify and manage risks; ensure compliance with legislation and internal policies.
• Coach and train team members; lead meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
