Toyota Material Handling Australia is seeking a passionateWork Health and Safety Advisor to champion a strong safety culture across our national operations. The role focuses on creating a safer, smarter workplace and aligning safety practices with legislation and TMHA standards.

The position is based at our Moorebank Head Office, five days a week. You will work with the business to promote proactive safety, support safety initiatives and drive cultural change, ensuring that WHSE KPI’s and

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years WHSE experience in an industrial setting.
• Proven ability to drive WHSE cultural change.
• Experience with an integrated safety management system.
• Experience implementing new safety methodologies.
• Auditing experience (desktop and site).
• Expertise in workplace incident investigation.

• Working and consulting with the business to create a safe and productive working environment.
• Driving a simplified, proactive, risk based and collaborative safety culture.
• Ensuring WHSE KPI’s, policies and procedures comply with all applicable legislation and standards and are integrated into TMHA safety culture.

Skills And Experience

• Minimum 3 years of WHSE experience in an Industrial environment
• Previous experience/involvement in achieving WHSE cultural change.
• Previous proven experience in managing and working with an integrated safety management system
• Experience in implementing new safety methodologies and initiatives
• Internal auditing experience (desktop and actual)
• Expertise in workplace incident investigation
• Strong Interpersonal skills:- communication, negotiation, influencing, listening, empathy and flexibility
• Commercial understanding
• Proven problem solving ability
• Project management, organisational and planning skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
