Job summary

Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) is seeking a Field Service Technician based in Cairns to perform on-site servicing, diagnostics and repairs on Toyota forklifts and material handling equipment. You'll troubleshoot breakdowns and complete routine servicing to keep customers moving from the road.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified mechanic (automotive, plant, diesel or similar).
• Hands-on servicing/repair experience; forklift or heavy equipment is a bonus.
• Valid Driver's Licence.
• Strong problem-solving and customer-first mindset.
• Thrives working in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site servicing, diagnostics and repairs for Toyota forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and perform routine servicing to keep customers moving.
• Operate from a fully equipped service vehicle in the Cairns region.

What We’re Looking For

• Trade‑qualified mechanic (automotive, plant, diesel or similar).
• Hand‑on experience with servicing or repairs (forklift or heavy equipment a bonus, but not essential).
• Drivers Licence
