Job summary

McMahon Services in Adelaide is seeking a proactive WHSEQ Advisor to join our growing team. You will work closely with project managers and operations to implement WHSEQ requirements, mentor teams, and support risk management, audits and incident investigations across projects.

The role involves regional travel across SA, strong communication, and practical risk management, with a focus on Safety Certainty 2.0 and continuous improvement within our Business Management Systems.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety required.
• Experience in WHSEQ within construction or a similar operational environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Construction Industry White Card and current driver’s licence.
• Willingness to travel to regional South Australian project sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical WHSEQ advice, guidance and mentoring to operational teams.
• Support the development and review of SWMS and JSEAs.
• Assist with incident investigations and communicate lessons learned.
• Support project teams in preparing for internal and external audits.
• Build positive relationships with operational teams, clients and stakeholders.
• Visit regional project sites when required to provide WHSEQ support.
