Job summary

McMahon Services in Adelaide is seeking an experienced WHSEQ Advisor to join our Engineering & Projects team. This hands-on role supports project delivery teams, partners with Project Managers, Engineers and Supervisors to drive safety performance and compliance.

Reporting to the WHSEQ Manager, you will implement WHSEQ systems across multiple projects, conduct site inspections, risk assessments and incidents investigations, and help develop project risk registers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a WHSEQ role.
• Experience supporting construction, engineering, industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety.
• Construction Industry White Card.
• Current Driver's Licence and First Aid qualification.
• Ability to travel to project locations including Mount Barker as required.
• Strong understanding of WHSEQ principles and project delivery environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while supporting multiple project teams.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of McMahon Services' Safety Program and WHSEQ systems.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, safety observations and risk assessments.
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Support development and maintenance of Project Risk Registers and WHSEQ Plans.
• Participate in project meetings and engage directly with project teams.
• Assist with SWMS, JSEAs and subcontractor onboarding activities.
• Support project teams in achieving compliance and continuous improvement objectives.
• Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
