Baiada Poultry in Australia is seeking a motivated WHS/EMS Assistant to support the implementation and maintenance of workplace health and safety policies under the Bsafe system and applicable Australian regulations.

Based at the Beresfield office, the role supports the WHS Coordinator, ensures timely communication with stakeholders, and helps drive a safe, healthy work environment for employees, contractors and visitors.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in WHS/EMS, compliance or another relevant field is advantageous.
• Previous experience in a similar role/transferrable skills.
• Current state driver's license

Responsabilités

• To support and assist the Site WHS Coordinator in the implementation, review and evaluation of the Bsafe Safety Management System and Audit System at the site/s under their responsibility so to provide a productive, safe and healthy work environment for employees, contractors and visitors.
• To assist in developing an effective safety culture at the site(s) under their responsibility.
• To comply with requirements as directed by the WHS Coordinator
• To prepare and collate reports to management for decision-making in areas of responsibility
