Job summary

JBS Australia is seeking an experienced Safety Advisor for the Caroona Feedlot, NSW, to drive continuous safety improvements. You will partner with site leadership to implement the WHS management system, conduct hazard identifications, investigations and inspections, and manage contractor safety across the operation.

You will lead the WHS Committee, promote open communication, and mentor leaders to embed safety in daily tasks while contributing to employee wellbeing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated WHS experience with knowledge of WHS legislation.
• Ability to provide practical WHS advice and coaching to leaders and staff.
• Desirable Certificate IV in WHS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee JBS Safety Management System implementation at the site.
• Hazard identification and control, incident investigations, safety inspections.
• Contractor management, emergency preparedness and WHS reporting.
• Lead WHS Committee and promote consultation across the site.
• Coach leaders and team members to embed safety in operations.
