Job summary

Easy Signs is seeking an experienced Safety & Facilities Officer to lead WHS across our Australian operations and own the safety agenda. You will work closely with HR, Production, Warehouse, Quality and Leadership teams to promote a safer, more efficient workplace and be the go-to safety partner on site.

In this role you will improve WHS systems, run audits and training, investigate incidents and hazards, and support workers’ compensation and return-to-work matters.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in workplace safety, preferably in manufacturing/production.
• Diploma of WHS preferred, or Certificate IV with strong practical experience.
• Approachable, proactive and hands-on with relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Improve WHS systems across operations.
• Coordinate audits and safety training.
• Investigate incidents and hazards and drive corrective actions.
• Support workers' compensation and return-to-work matters.
• Liaise with SafeWork NSW and external partners as needed.
• Oversee day-to-day facilities, coordinate contractors and maintenance.
