JBS Australia’s Caroona Feedlot in NSW is seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to drive health and safety improvements across the site.

Reporting to the Feedlot Manager, you will provide practical WHS advice, lead the WHS Committee, oversee risk controls, incident investigations and contractor management, and foster a proactive safety culture.

Formación

• Demonstrated WHS experience with knowledge of legislation
• Ability to provide practical WHS advice, coaching and support to leaders and employees
• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent is desirable
• Experience in intensive agricultural, feedlot, farming or similar environments is highly regarded
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels
• Collaborative approach to safety and continuous improvement
• Ability to work autonomously within a broader team
• Strong organisational skills in a fast-paced operational environment
• Competent computer skills (Excel/Word/Outlook)
• Commitment to improving safety performance and culture

Responsabilidades

• Drive continuous improvement in workplace health and safety across the site
• Oversee implementation of the JBS Safety Management System
• Identify hazards and implement controls, investigate incidents
• Manage safety inspections and contractor management
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and WHS reporting
• Build safety capability and lead the WHS Committee
• Coach leaders and team members to embed safety in daily operations
• Support employee health and wellbeing initiatives
