Job summary

Complete Pumps in Sydney, NSW seeks an experienced Wet Fire Service Manager to lead our growing team. You will oversee field technicians, conduct site inspections, prepare quotations, and ensure service operations run smoothly and safely.

You will drive client relationships, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with Australian Standards, including AS 1851. This is a hands-on leadership role with opportunities to shape the service department and mentor technicians.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in the wet fire protection industry.
• Strong knowledge of fire hydrants, hose reels, sprinklers, fire pumps.
• Experience supervising or managing technicians.
• Experience conducting site inspections and preparing quotations.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards, including AS 1851.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support our field technicians across Sydney, providing technical guidance and ensuring works are completed to a high standard.
• Conduct site inspections to assess defects, repairs, upgrades and maintenance requirements.
• Prepare accurate quotations for wet fire repairs, maintenance, installations and rectification works.
• Oversee daily service operations and ensure technicians are completing works efficiently and correctly.
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to technicians on site.
• Work closely with scheduling and administration teams to ensure jobs are planned and completed on time.
• Review completed jobs, technician reports and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify materials, equipment and labour requirements for upcoming works.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and building managers regarding technical matters and service requirements.
• Ensure all works comply with relevant Australian Standards, regulations and company procedures.
• Monitor technician performance, productivity and workmanship.
• Assist with training, mentoring and developing our growing team of technicians.
