Job summary

Lives Lived Well is seeking a Wellbeing Support Worker / Cleaner for the Shanty Creek Residential Rehabilitation Community in Mareeba Region, QLD. You will help maintain a clean, welcoming environment that supports residents on their recovery journey.

This Identified Position requires contributing to a culturally safe space for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander residents. You will collaborate with staff to uphold infection control, safety and high standards of cleanliness, while building

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required for this role.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Clean communal areas, bathrooms, offices, kitchens and accommodation areas.
• Support infection control and workplace health and safety standards.
• Assist with laundry, housekeeping and maintaining welcoming living environments.
• Build respectful and positive relationships with residents.
• Support residents and staff to maintain a welcoming and culturally safe environment.
• Assist with day-to-day operational tasks as required.
• Work collaboratively with the broader Shanty Creek team.
