Job summary

Residency by Dillons in Tin Can Bay seeks a Wellbeing Care Worker to join a boutique, family-run aged care facility. You will provide care per individual plans, support wellbeing, and help residents participate in activities.

Requirements include a Certificate III in Aged Care, excellent English communication, and a willingness to obtain a Police Clearance. Location is regional; local residence is essential with immediate start availability.

Qualifications

Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent.
Demonstrates genuine desire to care for frail aged people.
Able to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
Current flu and Covid vaccination record highly regarded.
Willing to obtain a Police Clearance Certificate.
Must reside locally and be able to start immediately.

Responsibilities

Deliver care and support in accordance with residents’ care needs.
Follow resident care plans with guidance from the Registered Nurse.
Assist residents to maintain health and wellbeing per instructions from supervisors.
Implement group and individual activities and lifestyle programs.
Encourage residents to participate in social experiences.
Respect residents’ rights to make informed choices about activities.
Maintain privacy, respect and dignity of residents.
Ensure environment is safe and home-like for residents.
