Job summary

MiCare Ltd is a not-for-profit organisation delivering aged care, home care, and community services across Victoria and Queensland. The Injury Management and Wellbeing Coordinator role focuses on supporting employees through recovery and coordinating safe returns to work in a people-first environment.

Based in Victoria, this part-time position offers flexibility to work three or four days per week, with duties spanning injury management, workers' compensation liaison, wellbeing initiatives, and

Qualifications

• Two years of practical experience in return to work and injury management.
• Completion of recognised Return to Work Coordinator training or equivalent.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple cases.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with diverse colleagues.
• Qualifications in injury management, OH&S, rehabilitation, HR or related field preferred.
• Experience in aged care or community services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day injury management and return to work cases with ongoing employee contact.
• Assist with workers' compensation claims and insurer liaison.
• Develop and review Return to Work Plans and Wellbeing Plans.
• Monitor certificates, work capacity, milestones and review dates.
• Coordinate wellbeing activities and campaigns across a diverse workforce.
• Maintain confidential case records and escalate complex matters.
