Job summary

• Prior experience in similar roles in the aged care sector.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creativity in planning diverse and inclusive activities.
• Ability to adapt programs for residents with physical or cognitive limitations.
• Teamwork and leadership in multidisciplinary environments.
• Good administrative and computer skills.
• Passion for event planning, social activities or community work.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and deliver a diverse range of lifestyle programs promoting well-being.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and staff to tailor programs.
• Monitor and assess program success, improving engagement and satisfaction.
• Work with healthcare professionals to integrate activities with care plans.
• Oversee scheduling and organisation of events with proper resources.
• Foster a positive, inclusive community atmosphere encouraging participation.
• Maintain records of activities, attendance, and feedback; report to management.
• Coordinate and support the Volunteer Program to enhance resident experiences.
